I began studying yoga in Tucson, Arizona when I was 17 years old. I tried every style of yoga that was available to me at the time and began teaching a year later. In 2001, I started taking classes from Darren Rhodes and have been practicing and studying Anusara ever since. It was around that time that I discovered kirtan, or chanting, and my love for yoga and music could merge. I began chanting sacred lullabies in my classes while students were laying in Savasana. In 2005 I purchased a harmonium and began writing and singing my own songs. In 2007 I recorded my first album, "Live", which is an appropriate title since all the songs were not only recorded live, but also in 1 or 2 takes.

This album is the first of what I hope to be more music to come. It was inspired by my husband, family, friends and students who have encouraged me along the way and are woven into every song.

I currently teach yoga at Yoga Oasis, Providence Institute, and Canyon Ranch. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2007 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Art History. I live in beautiful Tucson, Arizona with my husband and 2 cats. In addition to singing and yoga I also run, enjoy traveling, cooking, and making jewelry.
